Working hours: 16 hours per week, variable working from Monday – Sunday including evenings (banking 13 minutes per week to be used at an alternative time of the year)
Harlow Playhouse requires a Host to provide excellent customer service at this increasingly busy and important venue.
Harlow Playhouse houses two theatre venues and three studios The Playhouse has a full annual programme of events both on-site and at external locations. In addition to this, it is home to various resident Performing Arts companies including The Pauline Quirke Academy, Hip Hop Pop, Harlow Ballet and the Nationally acclaimed inclusive Theatre Group Razed Roof and is rapidly gaining a reputation as a regional centre for excellence.
Harlow Playhouse is proud to produce its annual Pantomime in-house with growing attendance year on year, rapidly excelling box office targets. Alongside this Harlow Playhouse works with exciting new artists across the subsidised sector to create and develop new work, ensuring engagement with the diverse population and audiences of Harlow and surrounding areas.
You will be able to contribute to the efficient delivery of ticket bookings and the efficient operation of the Café Bar. You must also be able to contribute to stimulating ticket sales.
You must have experience of directly dealing with customers in a sales-based environment and possess good basic IT knowledge.
An ability to work well under pressure is a must, as is a good telephone manner and an ability to show initiative.
You must be 18 or over in line with licensing law.
