About the role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Team Manager to lead a dedicated Adult Social Care team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services for adults and carers. In this role you will oversee assessment, care management, reviews, safeguarding and service delivery, ensuring compliance with the Care Act 2014 and relevant statutory frameworks. You will manage team performance, caseloads, budgets and service outcomes while driving continuous improvement and promoting strengths-based practice across the service.

About you

You will be a qualified Social Worker (CQSW, CSS, DipSW or equivalent) registered with Social Work England, with an Enhanced DBS clearance and significant experience within Adult Social Care, ideally in a local authority setting. You will have substantial experience operating within statutory frameworks, managing complex cases, making informed risk-based decisions and leading teams to achieve excellent outcomes. You will be able to motivate and develop staff, manage performance effectively, communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders and produce clear, high-quality reports. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of care management, safeguarding, and relevant legislation, alongside proven organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality services for adults and carers. Management qualifications are desirable.
