Position: Level 4 Teaching Assistant

Salary: Scale 4 , Spinal Point 7 to be pro rata

Hours of work: Part Time 27.5 hours – Term Time Only

Contract Term: Fixed Term- Maternity Cover

We are looking for a Level 4 Teaching Assistant who:

Is a strong team player and is committed to all pupils achieving their potential
Is calm, fair and kind and can support children’s behaviour positively, according to school policy
Has high expectations of learning and behaviour, and can promote independence in the classroom and playground
Is committed to supporting SEND pupils to learn and develop their skills within the classroom environment so that they achieve their best outcomes
Can work with the class teacher to adapt and adjust learning activities to enable pupils with additional needs to access our curriculum
Can prepare resources and implement strategies for teaching and learning, in line with individual support plans and EHCP targets
Can provide teachers and the SENCo with clear feedback about pupils’ engagement and interaction with learning activities and their emotional wellbeing
Is confident to provide whole class cover for occasional short-term absences
