With major national reforms, increasing complexity of need, and significant developments across health and care, we are looking for an exceptional Commissioning and Transformation Lead to help drive the next phase of our journey.

 

This is more than a commissioning role - it’s a chance to lead meaningful, system-wide change. You will take a leading role in shaping and delivering large-scale transformation programmes across People’s Services. Working at the heart of strategy and delivery, you will translate ambitious policy and reform into practical, high-impact solutions that improve outcomes for residents and ensure value for money.

 

You’ll:

  • Play a key role in commissioning and transformation across SEND, Health Partnerships and Adult Social Care.
  • Lead high-profile commissioning and transformation programmes that make a real difference
  • Drive innovation and challenge the status quo to deliver sustainable, high-quality services
  • Work in partnership with colleagues, the Integrated Care Board, and the voluntary sector to design joined-up solutions
  • Use data, insight and engagement to inform bold decision-making and continuous improvement

 

About You

You will bring:

  • Proven experience of leading large-scale commissioning and transformation programmes
  • Strong understanding of public sector policy, legislation and system change
  • The ability to turn big-picture strategy into tangible, deliverable plans
  • Confidence in influencing across organisational boundaries and building strong partnerships
  • Resilience and creativity in challenging environments
  • A clear commitment to reducing inequalities and improving lives
