The Council is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Commercial Sales & Lettings Support Officer to join its small, multi-disciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of providing a professional supporting service to a high performing team, with the ability to manage a varied workload and competing priorities.

This is a varied, hands-on role requiring flexibility to manage emerging priorities. Providing a wide-range of support, including IT, reporting and customer service across a busy sales and lettings department. The key focus for this post is to support all operational activities for the council’s direct sales programme as well as supporting the functions of the council’s wholly owned Housing Company and any outsourcing activities.

The successful applicant must be confident in supporting internal and external stakeholders across a busy portfolio and capable of forming strong working relationships with colleagues, contractors, and potential customers. You will be expected to work independently, whether in the office, at home or at times across alternative locations within the borough.

Essential Criteria

Experience of providing a high level of administration support is essential

Desirable Criteria

A general understanding of the housing market or experience of working within the housing or property sector is desirable
