The salary range for this role is £38,090 to £41,134 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.

Procurement Specialist
to join our fantastic team. This is a
hybrid role
split between working on site and from home, with the main base location being Woodhatch Place in Reigate.

About The Role
The Procurement Team manages a spend of around £1.5Bn per annum with external suppliers, procuring everything from software to social services, cleaning products to highway maintenance services. This role involves working on a range of procurement projects, across different category areas, providing expertise on tendering activity to clients across different services and delivering high performance contracts by either tendering or the use of frameworks.
In Procurement we are supporting a lot of the contract transitions for local government restructure (LGR) as well as the business as usual work across Surrey County Council.
This role contributes to the organisation's strategic goals by delivering tangible benefits which can include social value and other benefits which brings value both to the council and to residents.
