The Waverley Housing team has created an exciting new opportunity to lead on the management of Anti‑Social Behaviour (ASB) cases, and we are looking for an experienced and motivated ASB Officer to join us.
You will work alongside our Housing Officers, Community Services, the Police, Social services and other Partner Agencies to deliver a robust, proactive, and tenant‑focused ASB service. This role plays a key part in ensuring our communities feel safe, supported, and well‑served.
As our ASB Officer, you will take responsibility for the effective investigation and end‑to‑end case management of a wide range of ASB concerns, ensuring each case is handled professionally, sensitively, and in line with best practice. This vacancy would give you the ideal opportunity to provide a front-line response and support Council tenants that report serious anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse, safeguarding and other community safety issues.
Key Responsibilities
Triage all ASB complaints, assess levels of risk, and agree appropriate action plans with both victims and perpetrators.
Carry out thorough investigations to understand the root causes of behaviour and identify suitable interventions.
Work closely with colleagues across Housing Services.
Liaise with statutory and voluntary partner agencies to support timely and effective case resolution.
Ensure that all victims and perpetrators receive appropriate advice, safeguarding, and support throughout the process.
Maintain accurate case records and contribute to continuous service improvement.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience managing ASB cases or similar investigative work.
Is confident working with residents, often in sensitive or challenging circumstances.
Can act decisively, professionally, and with empathy.
Works effectively with a range of partners and internal teams.
Is organised, resilient, and committed to achieving positive outcomes for our tenants.
