We are seeking a skilled and motivated Stock Condition Surveyor to join our Strategic Asset Management team and support the effective management and long‑term investment planning of our housing stock. As a qualified surveyor with strong data management and analytic skills, you will have extensive experience of working with housing data. In this role you will carry out internal, external and communal stock condition surveys across occupied and void homes, using asset management systems and mobile technology to accurately capture condition data. Your work will directly inform planned maintenance programmes, capital investment decisions and long‑term asset strategies, while ensuring properties are safe, well maintained and meet required standards. You will also work closely with residents, contractors and colleagues across Housing Services, providing technical advice and supporting the delivery of high‑quality services. This is the perfect opportunity to develop your surveying skills in a supportive team with a variety of works programmes to gain direct experience in. We are looking for someone with a relevant surveying qualification or equivalent experience, strong IT and data analysis skills, good knowledge of health and safety requirements, and the ability to manage their own workload effectively. Experience of working in social housing or local government and knowledge of asset management systems would be beneficial. This post is a full-time role. However, all applications will be considered.
