You will work within multi-disciplinary Regulatory Services, which includes all Environmental Health disciplines, Licensing, Emergency Planning and Neighbourhood Enforcement. On a typical day, you would: inspect Houses in Multiple Occupation and licensed caravan parks, assess risks and secure compliance with the law and licensing conditions. investigate complaints and enquiries relating to the private-rented sector, including allegations of illegal eviction. assess hazards in line with HHRS guidance. investigate and gather evidence to support: service of Civil Penalty Notices, tribunal hearings and/or legal proceedings. About You You have a good understanding of the law in relation to the private rented sector. You are self-motivated and enthusiastic, with strong organisational skills. You have a sound understanding of the use of HHRS to assess hazards and deficiencies in domestic properties. You approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset and determination to see cases through to a successful conclusion.
