About the role
Elmbridge Borough Council is transforming how we support residents through our Connected Communities approach.
We’re looking for a Project Officer to help deliver projects that improve health, wellbeing and community resilience across the borough.
This is a varied role where you’ll work closely with colleagues and partners, with the opportunity to contribute to projects that make a real difference to local communities.
In this role, you will:
work across the council and with partners to ensure workstreams are on track and achieving their objectives
undertake research and evaluation of internal work and external examples of good practice
develop data-led reports and action plans to drive improvement across systems and the local area
prepare updates for our key stakeholders, elected members and colleagues
provide administrative support to managers and the wider functions of Community, Health and Wellbeing
About you
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and able to work with a wide range of people. You will have:
fluency in spoken and written English, with proficiency in MS Office applications
experience in influencing and supporting positive change at individual, community and organisational levels
project administration experience and the ability to carry out research and analysis
experience of office systems, including organising resources and maintaining administrative processes
excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
understanding of data protection
strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
