Senior Capital Delivery Manager
Royal Greenwich Council
Job Introduction
Senior Capital Delivery Manager – FTC 2 Years
As one of London’s largest social landlords, we are seeking an exceptional and experienced professional to lead the delivery of a large-scale capital investment programme, including a circa £60m cladding remediation programme across high-rise buildings.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of complex capital works from inception through to completion and handover. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022, safeguarding residents, and protecting the Council’s financial position and reputation.
You will lead on programme governance, contract management, procurement strategy and commercial performance, ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget. Working closely with senior management colleagues, you will contribute to a coordinated and strategic approach across Repairs and Investment and the wider Housing and Safer Communities directorate.
Managing a multidisciplinary team, you will provide strong leadership and direction to project managers, consultants and contractors, driving high performance, innovation and continuous improvement. You will also oversee resident engagement, ensuring that works are delivered with a strong customer focus and that communication with residents, members and stakeholders is clear and effective.
The successful candidate will bring substantial experience of delivering large-scale capital programmes within a housing or construction environment, alongside strong knowledge of building safety, procurement and regulatory compliance. You will be an effective leader, capable of managing complex stakeholder relationships and delivering results in a high-profile and fast-paced environment.
If you have the drive, ambition and expertise to deliver high-impact programmes that improve residents’ safety and homes, we would very much like to hear from you.
