Are you passionate about inclusive education and ready to make a real difference for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Greenwich?

The SEND Outreach Services in Greenwich bring together four highly respected teams:

  • Support Team for Education in Primary and Secondary Schools (STEPS) 
  • Early Years Inclusion Service 
  • Autism Outreach 
  • Sensory Service 

We are seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and visionary leader to join us as STEPS Team Leader. In this pivotal role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team supporting pupils with literacy, numeracy, and a range of learning needs in mainstream schools. You will play a central role in putting the Government’s SEND reforms and vision for improved outcomes into practice, ensuring that every child has access to inclusive, high-quality education.

What we need from you:

  • Proven experience leading and managing specialist education teams. 
  • Deep understanding of SEND and inclusive education. 
  • Strong strategic thinking, organisational, and communication skills. 
  • Ability to drive service development, deliver impactful training, and monitor outcomes.
