The Role

The Council's Housing Solution Team provide essential support to those who are, or are at risk of facing homelessness and are looking for a 12 month part-time administrator to support them in the delivery of their services. The postholder needs to have excellent customer service skills, a flexible approach and willingness to work across the department undertaking a variety of administrative duties to support the teams. Key tasks will include managing enquiries, assisting with accurate records management, data recording and reporting, financial duties such as processing invoices, organising and minute-taking for meetings, assisting with specific projects. If you are looking to work in a busy, front line service area that provides support to those facing challenging situations, then this could be the role for you.

About you

Previous administrative support in a similar front-facing service area
Excellent administrative skills
4 GCSE's Grade 4/C including Maths & English, or equivalent qualifications
Experience working with vulnerable households or young people
