We are investing in the future of our People Services function and are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide strategic and operational HR support across designated business areas.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled HR professional to work closely with managers, employees and Trade Union representatives, delivering expert advice, guidance and constructive challenge on a wide range of people matters. The role will support organisational performance, employee engagement and positive employee relations while ensuring people priorities are aligned with business objectives.
As a trusted advisor, you will lead on complex employee relations matters, support workforce planning and organisational change initiatives, and coach managers to build confidence and capability in people management. You will use workforce data and insight to inform decision-making, identify people-related risks and opportunities, and contribute to the delivery of the organisation's People Strategy.
Working collaboratively across People Services, you will support the development and implementation of HR policies, initiatives and continuous improvement activities, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, organisational policies and best practice. Through a proactive and solution-focused approach, you will play a key role in enhancing the employee experience and supporting the achievement of organisational goals.What You Will Bring
The HR Business Partner will be an experienced HR professional with significant experience of providing both strategic and operational HR support within a complex and fast-paced environment. You will possess strong employee relations expertise and a proven ability to advise, influence and challenge managers on a wide range of people management matters.
The successful candidate will have experience of managing complex employee relations cases, supporting organisational change initiatives and building effective relationships with managers, employees and recognised Trade Union representatives. You will be confident in interpreting employment legislation, assessing organisational risk and developing practical people solutions that support business objectives.
You will be highly organised and capable of managing competing priorities, using workforce data and insight to support decision-making and continuous improvement. Strong communication, coaching and relationship management skills are essential, alongside the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality and integrity.
The post holder will be a Chartered Member of the CIPD (MCIPD) or hold an equivalent professional HR qualification, a degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience is also required. Supported by significant experience operating within a Senior HR Advisory or HR Business Partnering role.
Experience of working in partnership with Trade Union representatives, supporting organisational change and workforce planning activities, and using workforce analytics to inform people strategies will be highly advantageous.How to Apply
