Role: Social Care Assistant (Days) (Older People Residential Services)
Location: Meadowburn, Hawthorn House, Orchard Grove, Victoria Gardens, Riverside
Pay: Starting hourly rate £15.38 (see attached salary details)
Hours: 24 hrs per week (see attached work pattern). Public Holiday working is required.

As a Social Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting residents by:
• Promoting dignity, choice, and independence
• Providing personal care (washing, dressing, bathing, shaving)
• Supporting with medication
• Using specialist moving & handling equipment
• Documenting care provided in residents’ notes

Essential Requirements:
• Genuine passion for caring and supporting older people
• Willingness to gain an SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
• SSSC registration (must apply within 2 weeks and be registered within 3 months of employment, we’ll cover the cost)
• PVG Scheme membership (you’ll cover the cost)
