About the Role

An opportunity has become available to join Housing and Property Services, as a Technical Officer. Working closely with your Team Manager, colleagues, property surveyors and Qualis Property Solutions, you will be the first point of contact for all Housing and Property enquiries received by phone and email.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and monitor the central Property Assets email inbox and deal with technical enquiries received over the phone with regards to repair queries, aids and adaptations, planned upgrades, planned programme works, capital works, decorating for the elderly, Party Wall Awards etc. The role includes a wide variety of other housing and property tasks including raising and updating official Civica Cx works orders for all ad hoc, capital, planned maintenance and property compliance works.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has a good general education, GCSE English Language and GCSE Mathematics or equivalent work experience. Along with a good level of digital intelligence including, the Microsoft suite to an intermediate standard and experience using a Housing Management database. Ideally you will have experience of working within the Housing Sector with a working knowledge of property construction and property compliance requirements.

Working Arrangements

This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with an initial expectation of attending 3-days per week in the Civic Offices.
