Senior Social Worker (Mental Health) – Enablement Team

Grade: Social Worker Level 3

Location: Enfield (Strictly Onsite)


We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Social Worker to join our Mental Health Enablement Team at the London Borough of Enfield.

This is an exciting opportunity to support adults with severe and enduring mental health needs to live independently within the community, while helping to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions and support timely discharge.

You will manage a complex caseload, undertake strengths-based assessments and work closely with Community Mental Health Teams, hospital services, housing providers and voluntary organisations to deliver person-centred support.

As a senior practitioner, you will provide professional leadership within the team, act as a Practice Educator, and undertake Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) work where qualified.

You will also deputise for the Service Manager when required, including attending Mental Health Resource Panels and representing the service at key meetings.

We offer a supportive team environment and opportunities for professional development, including Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP), Practice Educator and DoLS Assessor training.

This is an on-site role where you will be working 9am - 5pm.
