This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your arboricultural career within one of London's most diverse and valued urban forests.
Working as part of a skilled and professional arboricultural team, you will help manage and maintain trees across our parks, country parks and open spaces, including several historically significant and biodiverse sites.

What you'll do
- Work as part of a skilled team delivering high-quality arboricultural operations
- Undertake tree pruning, dismantling and general tree maintenance works
- Maintain the highest standards of health and safety, professionalism and workmanship
- Work across some of London's most historic, ecologically rich and high-profile green spaces
- Contribute to the long-term management of heritage trees and public open spaces
🌿 About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Proven climbing experience
- A genuine passion for arboriculture and the management of public green spaces
- Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence
Essential Qualifications
- City & Guilds NPTC Units 201 & 202 (formerly CS30) - Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-Cutting
- City & Guilds NPTC Unit 203 (formerly CS31) - Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm
- City & Guilds NPTC Units 206/306 (formerly CS38) - Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue
- City & Guilds NPTC Unit 308 (formerly CS39) - Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw
Desirable Qualifications
- NPTC 221 - Wood Chipper Operations
- NPTC 222 - Stump Grinder Operations
- NPTC 223 - MEWP Operations
- NPTC 225 - Chainsaw from MEWP
- Emergency First Aid at Work + Forestry
