An exciting opportunity has become available for a Chief of Staff within the Leader’s Office, playing a key role at the centre of decision-making and democratic leadership in Enfield.
The successful applicant will have a strong track record of working alongside senior elected members within a public sector setting, helping to shape policy and drive strategic priorities. They will possess a solid understanding of the issues affecting local government together with awareness of the wider national political environment.
The postholder will provide senior level support to the Leader of the Council, Cabinet and senior officers, while managing a small team responsible for delivering effective support to the Leader. We are seeking an individual who is collaborative, motivated by public service values and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced political environment.
This is a permanent full-time position based at Enfield Civic Centre. The role is office-based and will require some evening attendance.
