Ealing Council have an exciting new opportunity as Delivery Manager available on a full time basis. To help us achieve this, we have created a new Innovation and Service Development team within Children’s Services, and are looking to recruit two Delivery Managers to drive change across our directorate.
As the Delivery Manager you will:
• Mobilise and deliver change, with a focus on service improvement, efficiencies and demand management, service design and innovation.
• Manage key transformation projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring effective governance, quality assurance, and risk management.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the council – including senior officers and elected members – collaborating to find solutions to Children’s Service’s challenges
• Apply your problem-solving skills to tackle strategic priorities within a fast-paced environment
Our ideal Delivery Manager will have the below skills and experience:
• Experience of successfully managing change projects, ideally within local government or a similar sector
• Sound knowledge of programme and/project management methodology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
• A good understanding of the variety of local government services delivered to children and young people and the current issues and challenges regarding reform and transformation in this area
