Design Officer (Maternity Cover)
Ealing Council
Design Officer - Maternity Cover
Job Summary:
“Ealing is changing. As a place and as a council. We have a plan and we’re clear about where we need to get to. What can you do to help us?’’
– Council leader Peter Mason
We are on the look out for someone to step into our high-performing design team.
The council’s Ealing Design team provides and creates high quality, high impact marketing communications content and branding. The aim is always to use our skills and ideas to help council services to raise awareness, engage with communities and reach target audiences.
This includes producing materials used for internal and external communications – print, video, animation, branding, events, email and awards.
We are looking for someone to come in to cover maternity leave – and make a big impact of their own while they are with us.
In return, we can guarantee they will grow their portfolio and experience, they will help the council to make a difference, and they will get to join a friendly communications team of people with some industry-leading channels.
Is this you?
Do you have a proven track record of producing good quality, creative design and content, including magazines, video, audio, digital and web content, newsletters, posters, leaflets and brochures?
Do you have experience of preparing artwork to a high standard for digital and print? Of producing illustrations and graphics? Of taking complex information and transforming it into accessible and inclusive communications?
Then we want to hear from you. Take a look at the role role and person specification for more details.
If you have any specific questions about the role, please email Michaella Moultesz moulteszm@ealing.gov.uk or Shannon Downer sdowner001@ealing.gov.uk
