Ealing Council have an exciting new opportunity as a Caretaker available on a full-time basis. Estate Services is one of the most visible of our front-line services. With high levels of customer satisfaction, we are determined to continue this success and provide our residents with the highest standards of cleaning and caretaking services to communal areas of the Councils housing estates.
The Caretaker role:
To ensure the safety of our residents and make our estates a nicer, more attractive place for them to live on by keeping the communal areas of our residential buildings clean, passageways clear of hazards and ensuring the steady flow of waste out of the estate
As the Caretaker you will:

- Keep all communal parts of the buildings clean

- Rotate bins under chutes (where necessary)

- Move bulky waste from in/around buildings to a collection point

- Record information as to duties undertaken

- Carry out Health & Safety checks

- Identify and report communal repairs.
The successful candidate will have the below skills and experience:

- Experience of working in caretaking and cleaning in a housing estate environment

- A good level of physical fitness

- IT literacy (must be able to work a smartphone and use apps for recording jobs completed and reporting issues).
You must have the right to work in the UK. Evidence for the right to work in the UK will be requested at the interview stage.
