"Pride in Place" Board Member

Could YOU be a part of the Neighbourhood Board to lead Dover's Pride in Place Programme?
We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to form the Neighbourhood Board to develop and deliver Dover’s new 'Pride in Place' programme which will bring up to £20 million of investment to St Radigunds and Buckland wards over the next 10 years.
As a member, you will form part of the Neighbourhood Board. You'll work with other successful members to:
- identify the projects that matter most to local people
- create a plan for delivery.
We are looking for someone who:
- cares deeply about the area and knows the local community
- has a track record of partnership working
- wants to make sure the money makes a real difference for our residents.
This role is a voluntary role and cannot be an elected representative.

- Interviews will be held on Thursday 26 and 27 March 2026

Application period – please send a short CV, together with a maximum one-page statement on what you would bring to the Board and how you would like to see the Board working with the people of Buckland and St Radigunds, and why you would like to be a Board Member. A short video of no longer than three minutes is acceptable instead of a statement

Applications must be received by Friday 13 March 2026.
Interviews: these will be with colleagues from the Council, your MP and an external advisor on Thursday 26 or Friday 27 March 2026.
Decision and appointment: following a recommendation by the interview panel, Board Member appointments will be made by the Council and the MP by Friday 3 April 2026.
The first meeting of the Buckland and St Radigunds Pride in Place Board will be on Friday 17 April 2026.
