Salary: Grade 11-14 (£46,968- £55,323) depending on experience
Permanent – 36 hours per week

Job Purpose
We are seeking qualified social workers to work within our Young People’s service, with different ranges of experience to ensure that our young people receive a consistent service. We are seeking practitioners with an understanding of the challenges faces by being a Child Looked After and how to overcome these barriers.
About You
We are looking for social workers who are keen to support young people aged 16-18 who are in children looked after to grow and flourish into adulthood. We are seeking social workers who are passionate about supporting young people moving onto independence, ensuring clear and effective care plans which are tailored to our young people’s needs, to give them the best possible start in adult life. You will have experience of working with multi-agency partners such as health, adult services, housing and education, to ensure risk is well managed and safety is a key for our most vulnerable children. You will also have experience of direct work to evidence and understand the voices of our young people. You will understand the role of the Corporate Parent and how to get the best support for young people in line with statutory guidelines and legislation. You will understand systemic practice and demonstrate how your support for young people has made a positive difference. This service would be most appropriate for social workers who have experience of working with children and young people from diverse backgrounds.
