We are looking for enthusiastic Casual Dryside Leisure Assistants to support the delivery of our sports and activity programmes across multiple Leisure World sites, ensuring our customers receive a consistently positive and safe experience.

Duties of the role

As an essential member of the Leisure World team, you will support the delivery of sports sessions, holiday programmes, and children’s birthday parties across our sites. This includes setting up and packing away equipment, supervising activities, maintaining safe and engaging environments, and assisting Duty Officers with operational needs such as customer service, equipment checks and light cleaning tasks.

Your duties will include setting up and packing away sports and party equipment, helping to run children’s birthday parties, carrying out light cleaning tasks, and providing excellent customer assistance.

You will also work alongside Duty Officers and colleagues to support the day‑to‑day operational running of our sports facilities and holiday activity programmes.

Qualifications and skills required

Applicants should have experience working with adults and children in a sport, leisure or activity‑based environment, along with excellent customer‑care skills and a positive, proactive attitude. Experience delivering activities or supervising groups is desirable, as is an understanding of health and safety and safeguarding. A First Aid at Work qualification is an advantage, although training may be available for the right candidate.

We’re looking for individuals who can be flexible in their availability and willing to work across different sites, supporting activities during busy periods such as evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Training will be provided for site procedures, activity delivery and operational duties
