Cities can be lonely places. We’re here to ensure that The City of London isn’t. Our community centres bring people together, creating interests and relationships that last a lifetime. You’ll be the public face of the Corporation as you deliver great customer service at two multi-purpose facilities – putting smiles on faces every day.
Whether you’re meeting and greeting customers, taking bookings or promoting services as diverse as the community we support, you’ll make yourself invaluable. You’ll also have a vital role to play behind the scenes as you support marketing initiatives, maintain detailed records, organise inspections and repairs and assist with general administration – so you can be sure you’ll never be bored.
You’ll join us with great customer service and organisational skills and you’ll have plenty to say about how you can make two exceptional community centres even better. Above all, you’ll be passionate about people and you’ll know exactly how to help them get more out of life.
The City of London Corporation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
This role requires a Standard Disclosure & Barring Service check.
The City of London Corporation is currently undergoing a programme to ensure that our pay and reward practices are competitive and equitable across the whole organisation, to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to thrive in the work that we do.
In addition to a competitive salary and membership of the excellent Local Government Pension Scheme, you can look forward to an all-round package of life-improving benefits and offers – from interest-free season ticket and bicycle loans to discounts on health and wellbeing, arts and culture.
Closing date: 23:59pm on 24 April 2026.
Interviews will be held w/c 4 May 2026.
