Revenues Officer

We are looking for a Revenues Officer to join our team responsible for the administration and collection of Council Tax. This role requires high attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines and targets.
The post holder will deal with maintaining accurate Council Tax records in accordance with Council Tax legislation and council policies. The successful applicant will communicate with members of the public by telephone, by letter and by email and you will need to be able to vary your communication style depending on the situation to achieve the best outcome for the Council, while offering excellent customer service.
The appointed applicant will need to be accurate, productive and it’s important that you are flexible and can adapt to changing demands. Possessing sound IT skills and have a good understanding of Word and Excel is essential to the role.
