We are seeking engaging and committed Ice Rink Assistants to join our team. In this role, the post holders will help ensure the safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of all ice rink users during public skating sessions and ice rink birthday parties. Successful applicants will take pride in creating a welcoming and positive experience for every visitor.
Successful applicants will be confident and approachable communicators with excellent customer care skills and the ability to ice skate to a minimum of Skate UK Level 6 or equivalent. The post holders should be adaptable in their approach, able to support skaters of varying ages, abilities and confidence levels, and help create an encouraging and motivating environment.
A professional attitude is essential, as the position involves being responsible for enforcing rink etiquette, carrying out routine safety checks and inspections of the surrounding areas, and undertaking general cleaning duties to maintain a safe and pleasant facility.

The successful applicants will work on a casual basis during the Ice Rink public sessions which may include covering unsocial hours, bank holidays and Ice Rink parties on a Saturday afternoon.

Interviews are currently scheduled for 26th and 27th August 2026.
