Post Title: Facilities Officer
Team: Facilities Management
We are on the lookout for a proactive and passionate Facilities Officer to join our dynamic corporate assets and facilities management team
In this hands-on role, you’ll be at the heart of building compliance and maintenance coordination ensuring our large estate of buildings is safe, efficient, and fully functional. From liaising with building tenants to conducting inspections, your work will directly impact the performance and safety of our diverse estate of buildings.
What You’ll Do:
Carry out compliance audits across the Commercial Estate and Community Assets
Develop and manage a structured programme of tenant engagement
Request, receive and verify statutory compliance documentation
Maintain accurate, auditable compliance records for Insurance, FM, Legal and Property Services
Escalate cases of noncompliance and support appropriate enforcement where required
Support sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives
Be a key player in creating safe, productive environments

Experience in FM or building compliance
Strong organisational and communication skills
A problem-solver with a hands-on approach

Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week. Dependent on service requirements, you may be required to work on a rota basis.
Flexi scheme is in operation, working hours are 9-5 based in Bury Town Hall.
