Contract: Permanent, Full time, 36 hours per week
Working Hours: Mon-Fri
Location: Bromley Civic Centre
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days per week office attendance

The role
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Temporary Accommodation Visiting Officer to help ensure our temporary accommodation is safe, compliant, properly occupied and delivering value for money.
This is a field-based role that combines property inspections, investigations and customer engagement, playing a crucial part in safeguarding residents and preventing fraud.
You will work independently across a varied portfolio of accommodation, using your judgement, attention to detail and investigative skills to identify issues and resolve them effectively.
About You
We are looking for a confident, skilled visiting officer with strong sector knowledge who will bring:
- an understanding of housing legislation, temporary accommodation and fraud risk
- knowledge of HHSRS, EPC standards and common property disrepair issues
- an ability to provide sound advice to residents to help sustain accommodation and rental payments
- an ability to interpret complex information and make sound decisions
- a strong commitment to customer service and delivering positive outcomes
