Location: Community Vision, Penge Family Hub
Salary: up to  £59,545 per annum - In addition, you will receive £2000 annual retention payments, £2000 Golden Hello, and other excellent benefits including a lease car
Hours: Full Time, 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Community Vision Family Centre , Woodbine Grove , Penge SE20.(Occasional need to be at Bromley Civic Offices)
 
The role will be central to delivering a strengths-based, preventative approach to supporting families, with a focus on reducing the need for statutory safeguarding interventions through timely, community-based support.
 
Key Responsibilities:

•       Lead and manage the integrated Family Help Pilot team.

•       Drive implementation of the Family First model, including multi-agency assessments and Family Group Decision Making.

•       Support the development and embedding of the Family Help Lead Practitioner role.

•       Champion the use of motivational interviewing to strengthen family engagement and promote change.

•       Build strong partnerships across health, education, and voluntary sectors.

•       Monitor outcomes and contribute to the department’s test-and-learn approach to inform future service design and transformation.

 

Who should apply:

•       Experienced Team Manager.

•       Strong background in children’s social care, particularly in Safeguarding, Referral & Assessment and  Early Help.

•       Ability to lead teams through change, innovation and multi-agency collaboration.

•       Familiarity with or willingness to develop expertise in motivational interviewing, restorative approaches and family group decision making.
