We’re looking for someone who can bring people and services together, strengthen collaboration, and help ensure residents get the right support wherever they turn. If you’re passionate about partnership working, prevention and improving outcomes for communities, this could be the perfect next step.
As our Resilience & Community Coordination Lead, you’ll help build a more joined up local support system — enhancing pathways, developing partnerships and embedding a clear “no wrong door” approach across the borough. You’ll work closely with colleagues, senior leaders, voluntary and community organisations, and regional partners to make support simpler, more responsive and more effective.
You’ll also use data and outcomes insight to shape strategy, contribute to government reporting and support the continuous improvement of our resilience offer. Managing the Funding Operations Manager (BR13), you’ll help ensure strategic and operational work aligns to deliver the best results for residents.

• Lead the development of joined‑up frameworks and multi‑agency collaboration that embed a consistent “no wrong door” approach.
• Define, monitor and report on outcomes‑based interventions in line with Government guidance
About you
This is a demanding role that is at the very heart of delivering resilience you will need:
• Strong strategic and systems‑thinking and able to design and improve cross‑agency pathways and intervention models.
• Understanding of resilience, prevention and community support frameworks, including multi‑agency coordination and “no wrong door” approaches.
• Understanding of VCS roles, community infrastructure and local partnership ecosystems
• Understanding of financial governance principles relevant to resilience programmes, including data integrity, monitoring requirements and compliance with financial policy
Key requirements
We are looking for someone with experience of:
• Experience leading resilience, partnership, community coordination or preventative programmes at a strategic level.
• Experience designing or improving cross‑agency pathways, frameworks or service models.
• Experience managing senior staff or multidisciplinary teams in complex service environments.
• Experience producing strategic reports, presentations and insights for senior leaders, boards or Members.
