Job Title: Bank Reablement Support Worker
Salary: BR5 - £13.69 to £14.52 per hour
Location: Bromley Civic Centre
Contract: Casual
 
The London Borough of Bromley Reablement Service is currently looking to recruit Reablement Bank Support Workers to join our well established, existing team.  Working within a Reablement model of care, Support Workers encourage clients to regain confidence and daily living skills in order to maintain as much independence as possible.
 
The reablement service operates between 8am to 8pm- and this role is to cover shifts on an ad hoc basis, this could include working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays between the service delivery hours of 8am – 8pm.
 
The Reablement Support Worker will assist our service users to take greater control of their lives to remain independent and help eliminate their need for further intervention.
 
Being able to travel efficiently and effectively to any part of our big borough to support vulnerable people is essential.
 
It is desirable that candidate hold a level 2 NVQ in care work or be willing to undertake the care certificate.
