Portage Home Visitor Part time - 4 day (0.8) (term time 39 weeks) 28.8 hours per week- permanent position

Salary: The actual salary for 28.8 hrs pw X 39 weeks TTO is £23,547.58 to £24,997.26.

Children, Education and Families Bromley Civic Centre, Churchill Court 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS Salary: BR8

Working pattern :Hybrid and lone working, attendance at the office is for meetings ,group work is done at the Phoenix Children’s Resource Centre, 40 Masons Road, BR29JG.

Working hours are 9-5 but there is some flexibility.

 
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Early Years Inclusion Team as a Portage Home Visitor. The role is to provides a home teaching service for a caseload of children with severe and complex additional needs and their families, using the Portage model where partnership working with families and muti- agency working is central. The post also involves giving advice and support to mainstream pre-schools about strategies to support children as they move into a pre-school as well as doing group for children and families. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and positive professional who will be a champion for children with SEND. You will be joining a team of committed and supportive colleagues.
