Starting Rate of pay per hour: £13.45 per hour
Part-Time, 39 week Term-time-only positions, with a minimum of 20 hours per week (must be flexible to take on additional hours if required; Split days spread across five mornings and afternoons Monday to Friday; must be available between 7:00 and 09:30 am, and 14:00 and 17:30 pm) 

We are looking for people who share our passion at supporting children with a wide variety of additional needs.

You will need to be calm, dependable, and flexible to support children on their travel to and from schools across Bristol, mostly within the City boundary. The vehicle supplied will be driven by one of our contractor Drivers who will have DBS Clearance. 

You will take primary responsibility for the physical and social care of passengers, playing an essential role in the safeguarding of children travelling to and from school. At times some may find the journey difficult to manage and you will need to be familiar with the strategies which will help keep them safe, relaxed and calm. You will also be in day-to-day communication with families, educational establishments and the Home to School Travel team regarding health, well-being, safety, and behaviour of child passengers 

Ideally you will have experience with working or caring for children, as well as some understanding of the importance of safeguarding children.

This can be a demanding job both physically and mentally, but also very rewarding. Full training will be provided during a weeklong Induction.

Please note that this role is subject to Enhanced DBS Clearance.
