Make a Difference for Children, Families and Communities in Bristol

We are looking for a highly organised and customer focused Business Support Officer to join our Family Hubs and Early Help Service.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting services that help improve outcomes for children, young people and families across Bristol. Working within a dynamic multi-agency environment, you will provide citywide business support, coordination and administration across Family Hubs and Early Help services, including support for programmes such as Holiday Activities and Food (HAF).

What are we looking for?

You will have experience of delivering effective business support in a busy environment, with excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills. We are looking for someone who can manage competing priorities, work accurately with data and financial information, and build positive working relationships with colleagues, partners and service users. A flexible, solution-focused approach and a commitment to safeguarding, equality and inclusion are essential.

What will you be doing?

You will provide business support across multiple Family Hub sites throughout Bristol, coordinating administrative processes and responding to enquiries from colleagues, families, partners and members of the public.

You will support a range of projects and service areas, including parenting support, domestic abuse support, HAF, and the implementation of new citywide processes and procedures. The role also includes supporting financial processes, maintaining records, monitoring data and contributing to service improvements

This varied role offers the opportunity to work across different teams, projects and locations, helping to shape and support services for children, young people and families across the city.
