An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Council’s Markets Team for the role of Markets Officer.

We are looking for a customer-focused Market Officer to help support the day-to-day operation, development and promotion of our markets.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. From supporting traders and engaging with customers to coordinating market operations and helping deliver events, you will play a key role in creating vibrant, welcoming and successful market spaces.

You will work 37 hours per week with routine Saturdays. There will be occasions when the market is open on Sundays and evenings, post holders will be required to work as part of a rota to cover these occasions.
