Full Time, Permanent.


Two Social Care Assistants with a talent for administration are needed within the Family Help and Safeguarding Service at Symes House in Hartcliffe.  This role involves taking messages from and responding to members of the public, daily use of spreadsheets/data entry systems, supporting the team to deliver services efficiently and taking detailed minutes in meetings on a regular basis. 


You will need strong organisation and administrative skills, a capacity to work under pressure, and a desire to support teams delivering services to vulnerable families receiving statutory services. 

Good communication skills and an ability to use initiative to support the work of the team, are essential qualities. Key skills necessary are being able to use spreadsheets, upload performance information onto a database, administer finance process, and take minutes at meetings. You will be helping with some of the tasks needed to keep the office functioning well.

You will need to be able to respond effectively to contact from families and professionals on a regular basis.  The office offers a friendly but busy environment and remote working is not possible for this role. There are regular meetings for the 10 CSCA’s in the service to share information and plan responses to demands.
