Estates & Sites Supervisor

Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week working Mon – Thurs: 7:30-4:00pm, Fri 7:30am-3:30pm. Additional (non‑contractual): 1 in 7 weekends, 7:00am–12pm (paid hourly enhanced rate), Some Bank Holidays (enhanced rate).
About the Role
The Estates and Sites Supervisor play a key role in ensuring estates across Bristol are safe, clean, and well‑managed as part of Housing and Landlord Services.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and support Estates & Sites Officers, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer care.
- Act as a visible frontline contact for tenants, residents, and visitors.
- Carry out regular site inspections and ensure compliance with health and fire safety standards.
- Manage cleaning and waste procedures.
- Liaise with internal council departments and external organisations to resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure adherence to all Bristol City Council policies and procedures.
- Provide accurate record keeping and use Microsoft Office or equivalent systems.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, numeracy, and literacy skills.
- Good IT skills and willingness to learn new applications.
- Full driving licence and ability to travel between sites using own vehicle (fuel reclaimable).
