Are you an experienced designer who can turn complex information into clear, engaging and accessible communications?

As a Senior Graphic Designer in Bristol Design, our in house creative team, you will lead the visual design of high profile projects that help improve access to council services and make a positive difference for people across Bristol. Working with colleagues across areas including regeneration, sustainable travel, culture and public health, you will shape creative solutions that deliver real impact.

You will manage a varied portfolio of projects, from campaigns and brand identities to exhibitions, events, digital products and printed materials. Using strategic thinking and an insight led design process, you will assess briefs, identify what audiences need and develop solutions that are creative, accessible and effective.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has substantial professional experience delivering complex, multi channel design projects from concept through to delivery.
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment and builds strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Applies strategic thinking to design and can confidently advise on the best approach to meet user and service needs.
  • Has experience developing and maintaining visual identities across multiple products within a wider brand framework.
  • Is comfortable managing changing priorities and multiple concurrent projects.
  • Can clearly present and explain design decisions to a range of audiences, including senior stakeholders.
  • Has a diverse portfolio covering both physical and digital design, including campaigns, exhibitions, identities and digital channels.
  • Is committed to accessibility, inclusion and continuous professional development.

If you are passionate about using design to solve problems, improve services and create better experiences for diverse audiences, we would love to hear from you.
