What do I need?

We're looking for an individual who can demonstrate:

  • Experience in a relevant field such as regeneration, economic development, housing, development, infrastructure or capital project delivery.
  • Experience of leading and managing a team.
  • A strong track record of leading and delivering complex projects and programmes involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience of identifying, securing and managing external funding for regeneration, housing, infrastructure or economic development projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and partnerships.
  • Strong financial and commercial awareness, including budget management, funding compliance and project appraisal.
  • Experience of procurement processes and the management of consultants, contractors and delivery partners.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities, risks and resources effectively.
  • The ability to operate confidently within a complex political, organisational and partnership environment.
