Trading with Schools, a department within Bristol City Council, provides a wide range of high-quality services to educational settings across Bristol and surrounding areas. We are seeking to appoint a Client Relationship Officer within the Client Relationships Team, which forms the business support function of Trading with Schools. This is a varied and rewarding role, reporting to the Client Relationships Team Leader.
The Client Relationships Officer role:
- Contribute to the effective management and ongoing development of the Trading with Schools website, including developing, maintaining, and regularly updating content to ensure it remains accurate, accessible, and aligned with user needs.
- Produce reports and statistical information to monitor content performance and support decision-making.
- Use data-driven analysis to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
- Supporting the continuous enhancement of the digital platform and the overall user experience.
- Undertaking a broad range of administrative and financial duties.
- Processing invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Providing high-quality administrative support to the Trading with Schools team, partner services within Education, and the wider City Council.
- Effectively resolving queries from a range of stakeholders.
- Acting as a key point of contact via telephone and email for school customers, internal colleagues, parents, and other professionals.
- Supporting the coordination and delivery of CPD activities, including arranging venues, refreshments, and all related arrangements.

We are looking for an individual who can take initiative, with a strong focus on improvement and a drive to enhance services. The role requires confidence in delivering specialist outputs, particularly in web and digital content, alongside the ability to work comfortably with data, reporting tools, and content management systems.
Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to tailor messaging effectively for a range of audiences.
