1x  Junction 3 and St Pauls Libraries
Part Time - 15.5 hours per week. Usual work pattern: Monday afternoon, Thursday afternoon, Friday all day, Saturday afternoon.
Fixed term (until 01/12/2027)

1x  East Bristol (working across libraries in the East of Bristol)
Part Time - 30 hours per week. Usual work pattern: Monday afternoon and evening, Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday all day, Friday all day, Saturday all day.Fixed term (until 12/11/2026)

If so, then we want you to come and join our friendly team. We need customer-focused people to help us run and develop a high-quality service at various Bristol libraries.

The posts are not available for job share and availability for all specified sessions is required. The roles are not suitable for home working or hybrid working, as they are required to be physically present in libraries.

Manual handling, display screen equipment, and other training will be given, to ensure tasks are carried out safely.

Please note that this role is subject to an Standard DBS Check.

For permanent Bristol City Council employees, this post will be a secondment.

For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.

If you are currently a casual worker or a member of an employment agency (currently working with Bristol City Council) this post will be a fixed term contract.
