Permanent, Part Time 18 hours per week Shift hours are 9.00am - 15:00pm, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and 1 weekend in 4 on a rota basis, shift pattern to be discussed at interview. This includes some bank holidays.
An opportunity has arisen to join the Community Meals Service as a Customer Service Advisor.
You will join a diverse and friendly team of people who are committed to making sure that our customers receive a quality service. You will be part of the Citywide effort to support citizens to remain as independent as possible in their own homes; by ensuring they are provided a hot nutritious meal and by checking on their safety and wellbeing.
If you are looking for an office-based position which helps to support people in your community, are highly motivated, reliable, flexible and able to work well under pressure, this could be the position for you.
We are looking for someone who has experience of working in a customer focused environment, able to work independently and within a team, and, on occasions, to lone work. You will be the first contact people have with the Meals Service dealing with customers, relatives, and outside agencies, and answering all queries in a professional and friendly manner over the phone.
Confidence in handling money, recording finances, according to Bristol City Council’s policies, supporting debt management are also part of the role. Good knowledge and use of ICT applications, including Microsoft, excel and various other service specific databases.
Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
