Environmental Health Officer

Full Time, Permanent

The Public Protection Environmental Health Service welcomes applicants for the role of Environmental Health Officer.

The role will require you to be fully Registered with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, Environmental Health Officers registration board.

The post will be primarily based in the food safety team and ideally require competency in undertaking the full range of food safety interventions, complaint investigations and inspections. 

Additionally, the role will involve working with other teams in the Service and there will be opportunities to work across Pollution Control, Port Health, Infectious disease control and Health and Safety.
