- The Advice Information and Assessment Service
Our Advice, Information and Assessment Service has been delivering timely, proportionate support since October 2025, responding effectively to citizens, families and professionals seeking Adult Social Care involvement. Our dedicated and multi-disciplinary team works collaboratively and at pace, using a strength‑based approach in line with the Bristol Vision. We focus on preventing, reducing or delaying the need for formal services by offering early advice, information and practical support, helping people stay safe, independent and connected to their communities. The longer-term work we complete includes but is not limited to Care Act assessments, Mental capacity assessments, S42 Enquiries and Social Circumstance report writing for Tribunals.
- Communities Teams (various localities)
Our Community Teams work with adults with physical disabilities, mental health needs, learning disabilities, age‑related needs and unpaid carers.
