Gypsy Traveller and Vehicle Dweller Liaison Officer x3

Following the expansion of services within Bristol, we are looking to appoint up to three new Gypsy Traveller and Vehicle Dweller Liaison Officers to provide high quality, safe, site management services to Bristol City Council’s official Gypsy Traveller and vehicle dweller sites.
This exciting new role will involve a range of functions including pitch allocation, billing, one to one support, liaising with other departments and services, management of contractors, carrying out dynamic risk assessments, and challenging breaches of site rules.
You will also:
- Work with unauthorised encampments within the city, ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations and codes of practice.
- Manage the safe operation of service sites and oversee and support the work of third party service site providers.
- Remain in close liaison with other members of the Gypsy Roma Traveler Team, providing support and cover where necessary.
- Provide direct support to service users through signposting and referral to other organisations.
- Ensure that records are updated on the NEC data management system.
You must have a full driving license and access to your own vehicle.
