Grounds Maintenance Assistant Green keeper.
Permanent – Full Time 37 hours seasonal working hours apply.
Grade C £26,033 - £27,759

Key duties and responsibilities.
Working within the street scene department on the Hartwood Golf course, based at Hartwood Golf Course
To work with the green keeping team to ensure that Hartswood golf course is maintained to ensure year-round play.
Key skills required
- Current driving licence.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- High level of flexibility, positive can-do attitude.
- Working knowledge of fine turf maintenance and associated equipment
- Knowledge and experience of fine turf cultivation
- Working knowledge and skills in the use of sophisticated mowing equipment and handheld equipment such as strimmer’s, hedge cutters and other horticultural equipment.
- Experience in grounds maintenance works, such as pruning weeding, planting, fine turf preparation
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- High level of people skills,
- Experience of team working, and lone working where required.
