Transform Young Lives Through Educational Psychology

Brent is a tremendously vibrant London borough where the iconic arch of Wembley Stadium dominates the skyline. Spanning both inner and outer London, it is a borough of huge contrasts in terms of its economic, environmental, ethnic and social make up. Brent’s diversity is evident to all who visit our borough and our long history of ethnic and cultural diversity has created a place that is truly unique and valued by those who live and work here.

The council is pursuing a far-reaching transformation agenda that better meets the needs of our community so it is an exciting time to join us.

  • A strong EBSA (Emotionally-Based School Avoidance) framework, including a multi-agency panel led by EP
  • Development of an evaluative tool that allows Brent schools to gather data on pupil belonging.
  • Ongoing training programs in key areas such as:
    - ADHD in the classroom

  • Dedicated EP involvement in the Virtual School
We work in collaboration with colleagues in the wider Inclusion Service, where EPS plays a leadership role.

We are committed to anti-racist and culturally responsive practice and serving Brent’s diverse communities is a central and rewarding aspect of the role.

The EPS is based at Brent Civic Centre, a state-of-the-art building set within the shadow of Wembley Stadium, with the London Designer Outlet and a range of other attractions on the doorstep.
