Job Evaluation Advisor
We are looking for an experienced Job Evaluation Advisor to support fair, consistent, and legally compliant pay and grading across the Council.
You will evaluate and grade roles using the Council’s approved job evaluation scheme, provide expert advice to managers and HR on role design and grading structures, and support organisational change, including ringfencing and assimilation processes. You’ll also contribute to equal pay reviews, maintain accurate audit trails, and prepare clear evaluation documentation.
• CIPD Level 5 (or above)
• Experience in job evaluation within local government or the public sector
• Strong knowledge of job evaluation frameworks (e.g. NJC, Hay) and equal pay legislation
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills
